Duluth, Ga. - Oct. 4, 2006 - DataPath, Inc., a provider of satellite and wireless communications networks around the world, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to common stock that may be offered for sale by certain selling shareholders. The selling shareholders acquired the shares of DataPath common stock offered through this registration statement in private equity placements.
The offering relates to up to 31,460,000 shares of common stock, which may be offered for sale from time to time by the selling shareholders named in the registration statement. The price range for the offering has not yet been determined. DataPath will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the common stock in this offering.
